Dear FSC Members,

As many of you know, we have an empty residence at the range which is in dire need of repairs. Both residences need decking and siding and the uninhabited one needs extensive rehabilitation on the inside. The carpeting and bathroom fixtures have been removed from the empty residence and it looks as if the place is salvageable. The board is proceeding with Paula's (Assistant Manager) residence because the decking is a danger for anyone who might fall through and the siding has dry rot. Because of these issues, the Board has decided to call a special meeting on November 8, 2008 to ask the membership to approve the expenditure of up to $70,000.00 to make the necessary repairs. At the time the ballots are printed out, this amount will be reduced by the cost of the improvements that the Board is currently proceeding with on the residences.

The meeting will be held at Culbertson's Cove on November 8th at 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, you may request an absentee ballot from the FSC range office and mail or bring your ballot to the range office. Requests for ballots can be made by calling the range office at 916-354-9668 or emailing the range at sacvalley@outdrs.net .
