Mission Statement
NCPPRC Tactical Long Range Match
Required Equipment I. Center fire rifle with sights capable of shooting 1 MOA or better from 100 yards to 1000 yards. II. 50 rounds of match grade ammunition. III. Rifle sling. IV. Some type of system to carry your ammo and gear in. V. Some type of hydration system or water bottles. (we shoot in 100+ degrees and will walk over 2 Kilometers). VI. Eye and ear protection – Electronic amplifying models strongly suggested (i.e. Peltor Tac 6). VII. Empty chamber flags. (We have them for $1.00 at the match if you need one.) Optional Equipment I. Elbows and knee pads II. Shooting mat III. Note-taking gear to write down data IV. Rear rest (sand sock) V. Bi-pod VI. Basically you can bring whatever you want to carry as long as it doesn’t hold up the match and you HAVE to carry it the whole time. Restricted Equipment I. Rifle calibers have to be smaller than 50BMG II. Mechanical front rests like the ones they use in Benchrest Shooting are OK. III. There will be no spotters on the line with a shooter. This is an individual event.
