Volunteers are an essential part of our range management and the work of running a range is no better than the people who run it. There are a lot of jobs, both large and small, that need to be performed each weekend; with never enough volunteers to cover them.
We would like to enrich our volunteer program and make this a better range. If you meet the following requirements and are interested in the program, please fill out this form, see a staff member and let’s get started……
Requirements:
1. Have a great attitude, get along with people and are helpful and hard working.
2. Be able to put in some time each month.
3. Be a club member. (This is for insurance reasons)
What you get for helping out:
Other than making our shotgun range a better place to shoot, for every 12 hours that you put in volunteering, you will be able to buy a 13-round shot card for $20.00. You, the volunteer, can only use this card. You will also be able to shoot the Five-Stand for one punch of the card.
You are also able to shoot on the day you volunteer, but only when the work is done and the range is slow.
Responsibilities:
Included, but not limited to: opening and closing range, putting up flags, pulling targets for customers, keeping score, loading machines, pulling weeds, sweeping skeet and trap fields and houses, cleaning restrooms, picking up grounds and empty garbages.
