The California Rangers

California Rangers is a SASS-affiliated cowboy action shooting club and follows SASS rules. Matches are scored by "total time," rather than rank points. They also provide an "Open" category that will allow a shooter follow the requirements of different shooting categories for different stages. If you want to shoot a stage or two as a "Gunfighter" or "Duelist" but not commit to that style for the entire match, sign up under the "Open" category.

California Ranger's matches are held on the second Saturday of the month. We generally have our shooter's meeting starting at about 08:45 and we start shooting at about 9:00. Be there earlier to sign-in if you want to shoot. Eye and ear protection required (common glasses and cheap ear plugs are OK).

We are a SASS affiliated club and operate under The Sass Shooters Handbook,and The Range Officer Training Course, Level one and Level two.
